NEED

Aldo’s is an innovative company in the production and sale of artisan gelato ice cream. The image and quality of its stores and products clearly distinguish it from its competition, so the decoration of its commercial premises is avant-garde and exclusive design. Our proposal is based on originality, quality and production capacity, which refers to furniture as a central decorative element suspended in the ceiling that forms part of the artificial lighting of the same premises. It is worth mentioning that the ability to produce these pieces due to the difficulty of both materials and shapes, the technology to be used and the delivery and assembly time is limited to international firms whose costs are very high.

PROCESS

The creative team proposed the best option to section the pieces, as well as materials and assembly method, the carpentry workshop took care of the furniture and the painting team took care of the final touch-ups according to the design presented by the client. The central element, which was the “ceiling”, was manufactured in foam, which allowed us to focus our attention on the organic shape of the piece and not affect the production time. In an integral way, we worked on fiberglass and paint, to later section it, since it was impossible to transport and install it in a single block, due to the dimensions of the final piece and the size of the premises. Finally, the final touches were carried out and the application of the high-gloss polyurethane varnish already in place.

OUTCOME

The ceiling is an organic structure with a smooth surface, smooth curves, pronounced angles at different levels and a shelf located on one side of one of the walls of the premises. It has recessed dichroic lamps, pendant lamps and the space intended for the company's brand. The furniture produced by Scenic is a boat-shaped bar and corner cabinet with drawers and compartments for preparing various foods with lighting on the top of the counter.
