NEED

To create an immersive themed experience for a high-level event, transporting guests to the heart of the Roman Empire in 180 AD. The objective was to offer a historical celebration full of drama, grandeur and symbolism, where the stage design and atmosphere would awaken the senses and reinforce a narrative of power, glory and spectacle.

PROCESS

The venue was transformed into a veritable Roman coliseum, with stands and monumental structures inspired by imperial architecture.

The main stage housed the Emperor's balcony, a majestic stage construction with Doric columns, hand-carved thrones, and draped curtains in shades of purple and gold, symbolizing power and distinction.

The set included large-scale Roman chariots, mythological sculptures, torches, laurel wreaths, decorative fountains, and artificial stone structures with textured finishes that mimicked ancient marble; all crafted in the Scenic Studios workshop using specialized stagecraft techniques. The event came alive with choreographed gladiator battles, smoke effects, and surround sound, creating a multi-sensory experience that captured the adrenaline of ancient Roman spectacles.

RESULT

The evening became a true journey through time, astonishing all attendees. The combination of historical ambiance, majestic costumes, and meticulously crafted stage elements elevated the night to the best celebration of the year.
