From sketch to installation: The integral process of scenic creation at Scenic Studios

Scenic Studios Design & Production • 30 de junio de 2025

At Scenic Studios, every project tells a story — one that evolves into an immersive experience. What begins as a simple sketch becomes a fully realized environment designed to inspire, engage, and transform. In this article, we walk you through each step of our scenic creation process.

1. Concept Development

It all starts with an idea. Whether it's a theme park, hotel, or corporate event, we meet with our clients to understand their vision, needs, and goals. From there, our creative team develops sketches, visual references, and mood boards that capture the heart of the project.

2. 3D Design and Rendering

Once the concept is approved, we move on to digital design. Using 3D modeling software, we create highly detailed visualizations of the project. This stage defines dimensions, colors, materials, and technical elements — giving clients a clear view of what to expect.

3. Piece Fabrication

With final plans in hand, our workshop gets to work. We craft each component using materials like EPS (expanded polystyrene), polyurea, fiberglass, wood, and metal structures, depending on the design. Precision, durability, and finish quality are our top priorities.

4. Painting and Finishing

Our paint specialists bring the pieces to life with techniques ranging from weathering to hyper-realistic effects. This adds character and depth, ensuring every piece fits seamlessly into its thematic environment.

5. Logistics and On-Site Installation

Finally, our logistics and installation team transports and assembles each element on-site. We coordinate with all involved parties to ensure a safe, efficient, and timely installation process.

Transforming spaces is our craft

At Scenic Studios, we don’t just design scenery — we create memorable experiences. Our end-to-end process ensures quality, functionality, and a visual impact that exceeds expectations. If you have an idea, we’ll bring it to life.
